In your profile you complain that you have a hard time meeting people. Maybe try turning off your CAPS LOCK KEY BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING HARD TO READ WHEN YOU TYPE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME AND NOT TO MENTION RUDE TO THE READER BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO STRUGGLE TO MAKE OUT WHAT THE HECK YOU ARE SAYING. It's much easier to read this way, there's a reason people don't type in all caps but it seems you were in the US when people were told:
Typing in all caps is rude and considered shouting...but hey, we've only had the Internet for about 15 years now, I wouldn't expect you to learn such a simple concept right away.
PS: Don't go read their profile unless you want your eyes to bleed...

Obviously you didn't get the message CC was trying to deliver!! CAPS is considered yelling and it doesn't matter in what language on the internet. Considering your introduction was all in caps- you don't respect others who would be inclinded to view your profile!! But hey you are up in Newfoundland #2 and that in itself can be used as a reason.
Try a little respect to other members of this chatroom and you might be surprised at the outcome!!

ok...wtf?? you guys are seriously fighting on this?? I totally see hotandwet's point. CC did not have to state what they said in quite the way they did. It was indeed rude. All they had to say was "hey man..write in small case. Upper case means yelling." Just because someone has been on here for a long time and know alot of people does not automatically make them right. There really is no need to defend them.

I usually don't say anything but this is just pathetic. To bitch about the use of caps is quite stupid. I can see making a comment about it to inform someone which I still deem pointless but to freak out just indicates a lot. I only take caps as yelling if someone is talking to me directly. To be this petty makes me think someone is living the online life way too much and should perhaps do what William Shatner suggested in the first skit he did on SNL: get a life. Like for effin sake, are you that eneducated and stupid?I can see how caps is way more important than global warming or social adeptness.

Thanks booandlex and kizmitich glad someone took my side... kizmitich I think you put it in perspective. I never intended to yell at anyone only to be different in my text in our AD... I never thought twice about it... I have bigger fish to fry than be concerned about CAPS or not...

Newbies?? Interesting. Whether or not you think it is rude to type all in caps is one thing but you were insulting and need to acknowlege this but now I suppose the "war" is on because someone you deem to be a "newbie" is contradicting you. Because you have been on here for quite some does not automatically make you always right. BTW...I for one am not a newbie..I have been on here for many years now and I as well know alot of people. I guess that makes me autimatically correct as well.
Guess I will now wait for the insults to be slung and sides to be taken....*sigh*

I have a slightly different take. The very first time I read their post and everything was in caps I took it to mean they were excited and they were trying to express that to everyone. "HEY COME TO OUR PARTY, GET NAKED, FUCK TILL YOU CAN'T STAND, REST AND THEN FUCK SOME MORE, COME ON ITS THE ORGY OF THE MONTH,WE LOVE ALL OF YOU" Is that about right "Hotandwet"?

nakedh nice response. look up symbolic interation on wiki. it kinda blushes the point here. boo, dont wait for the insults. ignore them. always remember before listening to the message to consider the source. if they get insulted by and ognore caps I would love to know what they do when they see road signs.

NOT QUIET. I THINK THE POINT HAS BEEN MADE. However, because I am bored and I like the sound/visual of my voice I am going to further the point. This is a site where people meet and fuck on the first night. Couples go to events where the husband watches many men bang away at his wife and unload all over her body. Places where women will have dp's with men they just met and finally... bukkake requests. After all this we are to be sensitive to font size because someone may be offended......

seems like it swing. I spoke to hotandwet and they are very educated, personable and nice. they might have been a bit computer illiterate but really and once again: who cares. if you see caps as yelling well crap Id love to see your reaction when people yell at ya in real life.

Caps, no caps, all the same to me. Heck its getting the speeling right that matters lol. But yes wayyyy back when MSN started caps in the chatrooms was concidered yelling and on most sites today it is still concidered as such. Now that being said I myself have never heard of it concidered yelling in either posts or e-mails.
